With the emergence of COVID-19, we have seen a resurgence of QR code usage. As QR codes became more commonplace, WEDU in Tampa, FL quickly realized that this could potentially be a beneficial method of interaction with donors and potentially even reach a new more tech-savvy demographic of donors. By utilizing ACD’s QR Code generator, in conjunction with PledgeCart (ACD’s online donation platform) during their March Pledge Drive, WEDU captured 72 donations totaling $14,489. 56.9% of the donors gave monthly as sustainers.
